The 2007 Horizon Report
Each year I view the 2007 Horizon Report as it "seeks to identify and describe emerging technologies likely to have a large impact on teaching, learning, or creative expression within higher education." (p9) With the tremendous progress of web 2.0, "globalization of communication, entertainment, and information" is providing "students with wider perspectives and resources than ever before, placing them in a new and continually changing learning space." (p 3). "user-created content" now allows our students to be active participants and our job is to help them harness this collective intelligence!
